Hello,
At Google, we believe information should be universally accessible. Our education and scholarship programs aim to inspire and help students become future leaders in computing and technology by breaking down the barriers that prevent them from entering these fields. If selected, scholarship recipients will each receive a €7,000 scholarship for the 2018-2019 academic year. Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of applicant's academic background, leadership, and demonstrated passion for Computer Science.
We are currently accepting applications for the following opportunities and would appreciate your help in promoting them to relevant students:
Women Techmakers Scholars Program (former Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship): Europe, Middle East and Africa
Scholarship for female Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD students studying Computer Science or a closely related technical field
Recipients will be invited to attend an all-expense paid retreat at a Google office in 2018 and will also gain access to a global community of scholars
Deadline to apply: 11th December 2017
Apply on: womentechmakers.com/scholars
Students can join us for a livestream event on November 13, 2017 between 6:00pm to 7:00pm GMT to better understand the Scholarship by registering here. In this session, they’ll hear from two former Scholars awarded in 2015 (including a current Software Engineer at Google) about their journeys as a Scholarship recipient, get tips on how to submit a strong application and have the chance to ask us questions
Google Europe Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
Scholarship for Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD students with a disability studying Computer Science or a closely related technical field
Deadline to apply: 1st December 2017
We are attaching soft copies of the Scholarship posters in this email and you can also reshare the 2018 Scholarships launch announcement through your social network channels:
