We're writing to let you know that the deadlines are fast approaching for the Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship, the Google Summer Trainee Engineering Program (STEP) and the Google Europe Scholarship for Students with Disabilities! (Please find the full details below). If you know of any students who might be eligible and interested in these opportunities it would be great if you can forward this information to them.

We recommend students take a look at the Hangout on Air series on the Google Students YouTube channel where there is plenty of advice which ranges from how to write a good CV to how to prepare for a technical interview.

  • Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship. Female Bachelor, Master and PhD students studying Computer Science and related fields in the 2014-2015 academic year can apply to win a €7,000 scholarship. The deadline for applications is 17 February 2014 and you can find more information and apply online at: http://www.google.com/anitaborg/emea/.

  • Google Summer Trainee Engineering Program (STEP). STEP is a summer internship open to students who will be completing the first year of their university studies in summer 2014 and are studying Computer Science or related subjects at a university in Europe.  Learn more about the program from our blog post: http://goo.gl/UHG6JR.   • Google Europe Scholarship for Students with Disabilities. Students with a disability studying a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science and related fields in the 2014-2015 academic year can apply to win a €7,000 scholarship.
